The best asparagus recipe

Well, looks like this here blog turns into occassional recipe posting: and that is just fine. here is the best recipe for asparagus preparation I've ever seen or tasted. Seriously, once you made this, you'll never lok at asparagus the same way again. At least I did not.
1. Preheat oven to 450F.
2. Trim 1 bunch fresh young asparagus, cut into 2 inch pieces. Place into mixing bowl, drizzle liberally with 2 tablespoon best quality olive oil, 1 tablespoon good coarse sea salt, and 1 tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Note: Don't skim over the quality of the ingredients. Good sea salt and freshly ground pepper can save any dish, and so is a good, aromatic olive oil.
3. Spread asparagus on baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes depending on thickness. Serve right hot from the oven. In my house we snack on it right as
I pull it from the oven as we set the table, so make sure there is extra if your family/guests are prone to this vice.
Yum.
