Earthquake!

So we were minding our business as we usually do on Saturdays, listening to the rain, playing with Peanut, watching silly videos on YouTube... when suddenly there's this LURCH and the whole house shakes as if a truck had slammed to the front.
"WHAT was that?" I say, and The Husband, like a good and dutiful family protector, rushes out into the rain to check on things.

Turns out the neighbors across the street and two houses down also felt it, they were also out in front of their house, and the postman told him that a lady a street down also told him she felt it. Okay, weird... The Husband says it might have been a mild earthquake. I say 'nah, in Irving??' and proceed with my day.

A little while later there's another, much milder lurch. "There it is again." I say...

And just now, I saw on the local newsradio's website that it's confirmed as a 3.3 earthquake wth an epicenter just a couple miles south of us.

Well, I officially had my first earthquake.

In Texas, of all places.

Congratulations! And you were really near the epicenter too - it was in Euless, right?
