This year's selection is, indeed, marvelous, in a way, you know, like sunlight glinting on marble--not that waning, autumn sunlight so deplete of energy and signaling the end of a season, but the bright-almost-green light of spring morning--not that the marble would know the difference, but still.

Those are truly funny... some are spectacularly wrong! I've heard of this before, and had no idea it was online!
Yep, and the contest is open to anyone who can think up a fake novel opening!
